PHILADELPHIA Oct. 29, 2018 — MarketPlace PHL, the management company responsible for the concessions program at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), recognized Kiehl’s as the Merchant of the Year at the 11th annual EDGIE Awards held at Fairmount Water Works.

“We are so excited and honored to be recognized as the Merchant of the Year,” said Asimena Patsaros, specialty stores operations manager of Hudson Group, the operating company of Kiehl’s. “Our team puts so much effort into our store day in and day out. It’s so nice to be recognized for that.” Along with winning the coveted “Merchant of the Year” title, MarketPlace PHL also presented Kiehl’s with a $1,000 cash prize and the Merchant of the Year trophy.

At the end of each quarter, the merchants with the most points are named Merchant of the Quarter, and the merchant with the most points overall at the end of the year is named Merchant of the Year.
