Just Landed: New Merchants at PHL’s Marketplace

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PHILADELPHIA—October 29, 2010—The Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) recently debuted three new merchants in its food and retail mix. Passengers will recognize these national favorites, and can anticipate more food and shop offerings in 2011 as part of the airport’s expansion project.

New merchants include:

  • Cibo Express Gourmet Markets, Concourse C. Conveniently pre-packaged to take onboard, passengers can choose from endless culinary delights including sandwiches, salads, fruit, sushi trays, imported meats and cheeses, beverages and fresh bakery items.
  • Life is Good, Concourse E. Stocked with the recognizable, comfy apparel ideal for traveling, the store also carries myriad accessories for the entire family.
  • MindWorks, Concourse E. Appealing to travelers young and old, the unique and interactive merchandise mix offers both nostalgic and modern toys, games and electronics.

Philadelphia Marketplace will also introduce other tasty and healthy eateries including Earl of Sandwich, which will be the first location in Pennsylvania; and Currito Burrito, set to open this November.

“We listen to feedback and requests from our passengers so that we can best serve their needs while they are traveling through PHL,” said Clarence LeJeune, President of the Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops. “A new and diverse merchant mix helps to set us apart from other airports.”
