PHILADELPHIA — April 15, 2013 — The Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) announced Vino Volo, D/E Connector, and InMotion Entertainment, B/C Connector, as its Restaurant and Retailer of the Quarter, respectively, for Q3 2012-2013.
The Philadelphia Marketplace’s Cutting EDGE! Program (Excellence Drives Great Experiences) was designed to motivate and reward merchants. Each merchant can earn EDGE! points through great customer service and participation in marketing programs. At the end of each quarter, the food and retail merchants with the most points are named “Merchant of the Quarter.”
Vino Volo (derived from “wine flight” in Italian) offers hand-selected wines from around the world by the glass, in flights of small pours and by the bottle for customers to take home or have shipped. A 2009 Nation’s Restaurant News Hot Concepts! award winner, Vino Volo locations offer diners such items as artisan cheeses, dry cured meats, gourmet sandwiches, salads and a signature dish of smoked salmon rolls.
InMotion Entertainment brings back the fun to the traveling experience with “entertainment on the go” options. With live demonstrations of the newest electronic entertainment products—from leading brand-name headsets to cameras and camcorders to movies, music and games—the technology-trained staff offers friendly and attentive service.
