Taxco Sterling Named Philadelphia Marketplace Merchant of the Second Quarter

PHILADELPHIA — January 22, 2009

The Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) announced Taxco Sterling in International Terminal A West as its merchant of the quarter for Q2 2008-2009.

The Philadelphia Marketplace’s EDGE! program (Excellence Drives Great Experiences) was designed to motivate and reward merchants. Each merchant can earn EDGE! points for exceeding expectations through great customer service, participating in marketing programs and attending customer service seminars. At the end of each quarter, the merchant with the most points is named “merchant of the quarter.”

Taxco Sterling specializes in unique, handcrafted sterling silver and 18kt gold jewelry, accessories and tableware.  In addition to the A West location, Taxco Sterling has locations at PHL in Concourse B and the airport’s new D/E Connector.

“Taxco Sterling gives personal attention to each and every customer,” said Anna DiGregorio, Director of Marketing for the Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops. “Their staff knows what it takes to exceed passengers’ expectations here at PHL.”
